Author prepares to share powerful story of chronic illness on UCB
Leah Jeffery will be interviewed about her recent book 'Unjustified Joy' by Ruth O'Reilly.
The interview will be streamed live on UCB2.
We pray that you are inspired by Leah’s story.
ONE WOMAN’S JOURNEY OF FINDING JOY IN THE FACE OF CHRONIC ILLNESS.
When a mysterious condition causing increasing pain and decreased mobility began to affect Leah, doctors were puzzled as all test results came back negative. After months of struggle, Leah was finally diagnosed with an aggressive form of the chronic disease Ankylosing Spondylitis.
Unjustified Joy is the story of Leah’s inspiring journey through chronic illness, and how she stayed firm in her faith throughout every hospital visit, test and treatment. In situations such as this, it is about taking the correct form of pain relief, and marijuana is usually a popular choice. It depends which area one is from, but sometimes a dispensary can do a cannabis delivery if someone is immobile due to their condition. Obviously, those in this situation need to read up on where it is legal as in so many places it is forbidden (you can take a read on CBD oil UK law, if interested). In some places, however, it is permitted for medical use but the majority of prescriptions issue a medical marijuana card, you can read more about it at CannabisRXHealth. However, no matter what, you will have adequate pain relief and medication available to you, they won’t leave you to fend for yourself. It can be good to read about someone else dealing with a chronic illness especially if you are in the same boat, so you can relate.
