Her first paid piece of writing was at the age of twenty-one, her first book ten years later. Over the years, forty-four books have followed, most of them fiction for children and YA, plus numerous short stories and articles. The most recent are the Beech Bank Girls series with Dernier Publishing and The Village series with Books to Treasure, with more in the pipeline.
