David Muskett

David lives in Surrey where he eats and prepares food as well as being a Methodist Minister in the East Solent and Downs Circuit. Ordained in the Church of England in 1990, David served Anglican churches in Bedfordshire and Surrey. Moving to his present appointment in 2010 he now has pastoral charge of Methodist Churches in Surrey, Hampshire and W. Sussex. He transferred to the Methodist Church in 2013.

When Jesus spoke to his disciples, he often used everyday experiences to teach them valuable spiritual lessons.
Here David Muskett looks at the many times when Jesus used food and mealtimes to reveal principles of God’s Kingdom, finding parallels in our British love of baking and fine dining.
These short, easily digestible sermons will leave you inspired and empowered to live out your everyday life from an eternal, heavenly perspective.

When Jesus taught, he often used stories that his listeners would be able to relate to – each one revealing something about God’s activity on Earth. David Muskett looks at what Jesus said about horticulture and agriculture – and finds parallels in our British love for gardening.

These short, easily digestible sermons will leave you inspired and empowered to see God’s Kingdom grow in your own local neighbourhood.
