P. A. Kennan
P.A. Kennan is a lay preacher with the United Reformed Church. Prior to her call to ministry, she ran her own business for several years following a career in Higher, Secondary and Special Needs education.
‘Anxiety: Finding Peace’ (2019) is her third book. He previous titles – ‘OCD: Be Still and Know’ (2015) and ‘Depression: Jesus is Calling You’ (2017) grew out of her own struggles with OCD and depression and reveal how these debilitating conditions can be overcome and healed with God’s help.
Depression and anxiety is a growing problem in our society. Kennan’s most recent work was written in response to the fact that so many people live in thrall to fear; their lives have been shaped and defined by their reaction to it. Many are seatching for comfort and seeking ways to achieve a sense of inner peace. In an era of increasing secularisation, the message running through all of this author’s work is that there is only one place to find out rest – God.
