The Harrogate Informer reports on Guy Tweedy’s campaign for justice for thalidomide survivors

Leading Thalidomide campaigner Guy Tweedy was recently interviewed by the Harrogate Informer along with the owner of the first independent bookshop to stock The Thalidomide Catastrophe, a comprehensive guide to how the catastrophe happened, who was responsible and why the search for justice continues after more than six decades.

The Informer reported:

“For nearly 20 years, businessman Mr Tweedy, who lives in the town, has worked tirelessly to win compensation and concessions for the hundreds of remaining UK survivors of the ‘wonder drug’, from both the British and German governments.”

The book is now on sale at a larger number of high street stores and can also be purchased from Amazon or the book’s publishers, Onwards and Upwards.
